Nutrition with Sarah

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve written here! Life is crazy and time flies when you have children! My kids are now 6 and 4 and the oldest is in Kindergarten! Hard to believe honestly. The little one starts Kindergarten next September too and then both kids are in school full time! My job also changed slightly this year, I unexpectedly had the opportunity to move up to the High School doing the same job which was a wonderful change I didn’t entirely know I needed. It’s been a crazy year trying to get used to the new position but I’m loving it! Also new for me is that I now coach Crossfit and a Kids Crossfit like program at my gym! I love it and I’m incredible grateful for the opportunity I was given. It’s been about a year and a half since I began coaching regular classes and our kids program started in January 2019 and has taken off this year. Lastly, and the reason for this post is that I completed my Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition Certification in January! I’m so excited for this new piece to my busy life and to be able to begin coaching other busy moms and people in nutrition!

If you’ve never heard of a Nutrition Coach let me explain. I am not a registered dietitian nor do I have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Nutrition. What I have is a certification to help coach you through making some lifestyle choices that will help you achieve your goals in regards to eating and as a by product sometimes fitness. I spent the better part of a year reading all about the science of nutrition, which let me tell you, wasn’t easy, as well as learning HOW to coach people through nutrition. My own journey with a nutrition coach began about a year and a half ago and I had so much success with her and became so interested in the process that I went ahead and did one of the programs she had done. I now feel I’m ready and in a position to take on some clients of my own.

I will help to guide you through what your nutrition goals are and how we can achieve them. I do not provide “meal plans” as each person is individual but I will be able to make suggestions and this is really about finding a better relationship for yourself with food. Being that I’m a mom who has one full time job and at least 2-3 part time jobs (yes I know that’s insane) I relate to busy moms and people best. If you think that’s you then I’m your girl! I want this to be as straight forward and helpful as possible but know that it won’t be “easy” and it’s not a quick process. It takes most people AT LEAST three months to see some real movement. This is why I strongly recommend you make a minimum of a three month commitment right from the start. Then you won’t be upset if at the end of 30 days you’ve only lost a couple pounds. That’s okay! You will get there through consistency and focus. You can do this! Let me help you!

If this sounds like something you need in your life, fill out the form below and I’ll be in contact with you. I will let you know what the program entails and what you can expect from me in more detail. Lets get going… together!
